Do I need a referral from my Doctor?
No! In Oklahoma, Physical Therapists have direct access to patients in need of care for the first 30 days. Meaning you can skip paying unnecessary doctor’s office fees or other interventions that would delay the start of your healing journey. This streamlines your recovery process and allows you to be in more control!
Do you take my insurance?
The Movement Lab has elected to be an out of network provider to allow for the best possible care to be given to our patients. We follow a cash based model that has transparent pricing with no surprise bills later. We feel this gives the best possible approach to your rehab without limitations from the insurance on what can and cannot be performed in your plan of care.  However, you ARE able to utilize both HSA and FSA accounts here!  Patients can also be provided with a superbill if they have out of network benefits where they can submit to their insurance for possible reimbursement of services up to 50-80%.
What forms of payment do you accept?
We are able to accept HSA and FSA, cash, credit cards and Venmo.
What should I wear to my appointment?
We advise wearing loose or athletic clothing with easy access to your problem area.
What happens at my first appointment?
Your first session will consist of your initial assessment with your Doctor of Physical Therapy. This session will be a 60-minute one-on-one evaluation where we will listen and hear about your medical history, your current problems and the WHY driving your need to recover. You will go through a movement analysis to find limitations that could be contributing to your area of concern. Our focus will be to address your immediate pain with a hands-on approach, education on things to avoid or continue for the time being and create your roadmap for returning to living your life without limits.
How often will I need to come?

Each individual will have different needs and your plan of care and visit number will be decided with your Doctor of Physical Therapy at your first visit.

Typically we will see you once weekly for the first few weeks before scaling you to every other week. Our goal is to get you moving without pain, without fear, and without limits so you can get back to your life without needing to come see us 2-3 x a week, like most clinics.

What if I want to keep coming after our sessions are done?
This is a common occurrence! We offer a continuity program where you will have access to your provider and ability to schedule a session on a monthly or bi-monthly plan.

Keep in touch!
